Package: lprng
Version: 3.8.26-1
Tags: sarge sid

I cannot print out any postscript using lprng along with magicfilter and
hpijs. Printing out plaintext isn't a problem. I don't know excately
when this became a problem since I haven't used my printer since about
Augest 2003. This problem is specific to Sarge and Sid.

My /etc/printcap is:

lp|hp640c|HP Deskjet 640C:\
        :lp=/dev/usb/lp0:sd=/var/spool/lpd/hp640c:\
        :sh:pw#80:pl#72:px#1440:mx#0:\
        :if=/etc/magicfilter/dj690c-filter:\
        :af=/var/log/lp-acct:lf=/var/log/lp-errs:

Usually I will get the following printed out:

IJS
   1/2v1

Once I had some error message printed out, which was:

Error: /undefined in 0a30303030303030
                                     Operand stack:
                                                     --nostringval--
                                                                    Execution s

I suspect that it isn't a specific problem with lprng but one of the
packages I need for printing using lprng. I have a spare Woody box I can
try out things with, if that would be helpful.

Thanks
Daniel Walrond

Hello,

I'd like to close this bug. Everything seems to work with the latest
version of the software in sarge.

Thanks
Dan
