Package: lirc-modules-source
Version: 0.6.6-5
Severity: grave
Tags: sid
Justification: renders package unusable
When i try to compile the module (after untarring it from /usr/src into
/usr/src/modules/lirc)
i ran make-kpkg modules_image in my kernel source directory. This is the same
directory that i used earlier to compile the kernel that i am using at the
moment.
What i get is a missing file error:
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/modules/lirc'
sec -e "s!$KVERS!2.4.20!g; s!\$KSRC!/usr/src/linux; [EMAIL PROTECTED];

#Add here commands to install the package into debian/lirc-modules
/usr/bin/make install prefix=/usr/src/modules/lirc/debian/lirc-modules-2.4.20
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/modules/lirc'
cut: modules/*.o.KVERS: no such file or directory
make[2]: *** [install] Error 1
I went into the lirc-modules-2.4.20 directory, and it was completely empty. I
followed the README present
in the package using the make-kpkg instructions, but it didnt help.
