Package: iceweasel
Version: 2.0.0.1+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
Hello,
thanks for reading this bug, thanks for maintaining
iceweasel.
The bug:
If iceweasel is _not_ running,
when I call iceweasel from command line like:
$ iceweasel http://www.nederlands.nl/ -new-tab \
http://blog.madduck.net/geek/2007.01.30_firefox-hate
(hi, Martin ;-)
It opens *two windows* and not two tabs in the same window,
as it should.
if I type:
$ iceweasel http://www.nederlands.nl/ & iceweasel -new-tab
http://blog.madduck.net/geek/2007.01.30_firefox-hate
iceweasel opens *2 windows* and opens /also/ an error message
window:
"Firefox (!?) is already running, but it is not responding.
To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox (!)
process or restart your system [1]"
Whereas if iceweasel is already running if I type:
$ iceweasel -new-tab http://blog.madduck.net/geek/2007.01.30_firefox-hate
iceweasel opens a new tab in the active window.
Cheers,
Giovanni
