Package: Sound Juicer, rhythmbox, ?
Version: Debian Etch, frozen (all upgrades installed as of December
11th, 2007

Since Debian Etch RC1 GNOME applications such as Sound Juicer and
rhythmbox cannot read audio cd's anymore. Sound Juicer displays an error
message saying that it's not an audio cd (altho the titles of the songs
of the CD are correctly listed). Playing a song or ripping a tune does
not work with Sound Juicer. Rhythmbox displays an error message which is
not readable when an audio CD is present.
grip, on the other hand, is able to rip the audio cd. Playing an ogg
tune in rhythmbox is also possible.

Closing the bug as it most likely was caused by a bad binary package and
has been fixed by subsequent uploads.

Thanks to Jeroen Nijhof and Stefan Jenkner for confirming.
