I've upgraded from Firefox 1.5 to IceWeasel 2.0 and I found the session
saving (Edit->Preferences-> ) doesn't work. I completely removed my
configuration directory (~/.mozilla, which uses a subdir "firefox" BTW,
and there's a lot of other firefox "traces", like the "first run" page,
but I think you already know that =) and the problem persist, so I
guess it's not an extension issue.
Then I purge and reinstall the packages (I purged the firefox packages
when I installed IceWeasel) and the problem persist.
I tried the upstream (mozilla's) firefox by downloading the tar.gz from
the original site and it worked fine, even using the configuration
directory created by IceWeasel, so I guess it's a Debian/IceWeasel
problem.
