Hi Maintainer,
"SEE ALSO" topic of manpage should include a reference to
"update-grub" which is the tool provided to generate the menu.lst
file.
grub<tab> is of course useless on this problem (but that's the way I
found grub-floppy, grub-install, grub-md5-crypt, grub-reboot,
grub-terminfo :).
Additionally, I have encountered the bug "#160337: grub man page
says to type info grub, info grub gives manpage", and it is very
disturbing.
There is no clue that a grub-doc package with real info pages is
available, the only way to get that information is to check bugs
database.
