Hi, reading the bug report log I got convinced that this is either not a
bug at all (assuming the user is conscious of how dangerous can be
setting GREP_OPTIONS) or a bug in grep which should not use GREP_OPTIONS
when invoked in shell scripts. The bug has already been properly
cloned, reassigned, and retitle for grep.
I'm therefor closing the "half" of this bug report still belonging to
devscripts. Feel free to reopen if you still think there is something to
be done on the devscripts side.
Thanks for your report!
Cheers.
