Hi!
This is a really useful library. It allows for obtaining the uptime in a
portable manner (via read_uptime), and is helpful for hackers working on
kernel porting efforts (such as Debian GNU/kFreeBSD).
Please could you split static objects (.a), soname symlink (.so) and header
files into a separate libuptimed-dev package?
libuptimed package should also be renamed to carry the soname, to avoid
breaking ABI for future packages using it. This would make it libuptimed0.0.0.
