Subject: netbase: interfaces file should support all ifconfig options,
including MTU
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.50
Date: Sat, 22 Jun 2002 16:10:07 +0100
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Package: netbase
Version: 4.07
Severity: minor
I recently wanted to change the MTU value on my Ethernet card,
and had to write a rather nasty hack to do it. It would be good
if the interfaces configuration file supported the mtu
parameter supported by ifconfig for changing the MTU.
I suppose this could arguably be wishlist; I wouldn't oppose a
reduction.
Regards,
Andrew.
