Package: laptop-net
Version: 2.26-7
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello,

I am using laptop-net to connect to the network at home(ritter) and the
one at work(bd). Both places use DHCP.
At work I need to do some stuff after connecting (setting some tunnel
for safe synergy sessions), but although I have the following lines in
ip-map, the scheme does not change even after the interface is brought
up.

- -------8<---------
alexnet 86.123.24.193
ritter  192.168.77.254
bd      10.10.0.1 10.10.14.76 10.10.14.32 10.10.15.22
- -------8<---------

and this in scheme:

- -------8<---------
bd)
    # Set to "yes" to use DHCP
    DHCP="yes"

    # These bindings specify a static address and are ignored if DHCP is used:

    # IP address (required)
    ADDRESS=""
    # Netmask (required)
    NETMASK=""
    # Broadcast address (optional)
    BROADCAST=
    # Network address (optional)
    NETWORK=
    # Gateway address (optional)
    GATEWAY=""

    # These bindings are used both for DHCP and static addresses:

    # Local domain name (optional)
    DOMAIN=""
    # Search list for host lookup (optional)
    SEARCH=""
    # Nameservers, separated by spaces (optional)
    NAMESERVERS=""
    ;;
- -------8<---------

Note that these configuration files worked on my previous laptop, an
Apple PowerBook5,2.

   * Non-maintainer upload
   * build depend on libpcap0.8-dev instead of libpcap-dev since the older
