1. Create a new image, say 800 by 600.
2. Select->All (Ctrl-A)
3. Select->Border
4. Enter 100.
Result:
No pixels are selected.
Expected result:
Some pixels around the edge of the image will be selected.
The gimp user manual says[0] that when using the Select->Border
command, "The inside width of the new selection will be half of the
value set here and the outside width of the new selection will be the
other half." So a band of pixels 50 pixels wide, around the edge of
the image, should be selected.
This appears to happen when the original selection is up against the
edge of the image. If you shrink the selection by 1 pixel in each
direction, you get more-or-less what is expected.
