Hi,

on GNU/kFreeBSD (and GNU/Hurd) there are neither libhal-storage-dev (the
source package of this one has a B-D on linux-kernel-headers, so I
believe that it is really Linux-specific and can't be easily ported, if
possible at all) or libasound2-dev, which is also Linux-specific. Please
drop these B-D for kfreebsd-* and hurd-i386, as proposed in the attached
patch. Then the package builds fine, at least on GNU/kFreeBSD.
