It is not supposed to. From the package description:
cyrus2courier is a nice little tool to convert a single mailbox from
Cyrus-Imap (versions 1.5.x, 1.6.x, 2.0 and 2.1.x) into the Maildir++ format
used by the Courier-Imap and Dovecot IMAP servers.
The upstream author has a another tool which will convert Cyrus 2.2
mailboxes. It is available here: http://www.madness.at/projects/
However, it carries this warning:
"this is a slightly modified version that seems to be able to
sucessfully convert newer cyrus mail-spools (and only them!) BEWARE
however, this version wont convert the seen/unseen state of your
mails! you will either end up with all mails marked as seen or unseen
(depending on a compile time #define in src/c2c.h)"
Since I did not have a Cyrus 2.2 server setup, I had no way of testing
the tool myself, and so I thought it would be less than prudent to
package it without being able to test.
