Package: postfix
Version: 1.1.11-0.woody2
Severity: important

When upgrading our system from postfix-1.1.4-2 to
postfix-1.1.11-0.woody2, /etc/postfix/transport was overwritten. This
could have caused potentially significant problems. I was under the
impression that updates shouldn't ever overwrite configuration files. Do
we have something incorrectly configured with regard to our postfix
setup?

Hi,

This bug ("postfix: upgrade from postfix-1.1.4-2 to
postfix-1.1.11-0.woody2 overwirtes /etc/postfix/transport") has been
open for almost 5 years now.
It is tagged as 'unreproducible'. With Etch about to be released,
this is not relevant anymore.

    Hence, I'm closing it.

J.L.
