Ha. Further insight. Check your ~/.liferea/mozilla/liferea/prefs.js
It's a preferences file just like the one used by every mozilla
browser. Copying
---------------------------
user_pref("font.minimum-size.x-western", 12);
user_pref("font.name.monospace.x-western", "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono");
user_pref("font.name.sans-serif.x-western", "Bitstream Vera Sans");
user_pref("font.name.serif.x-western", "Bitstream Vera Serif");
user_pref("font.size.variable.x-western", 14);
user_pref("intl.accept_languages", "es-mx, es,en");
---------------------------
from my firefox's dir into this file changed the font used by liferea,
so I assume you can use that to change your font to your taste. Or you
can use <your favorite mozilla-based browser> to arrive at some sane
configuration then copy it to liferea.
I'm closing this bug, since I believe this should address your
request. Please feel free to reopen it if not.
