After reading about Evince today I installed it, and it looks good,
but one extremely annoying usability issue is that the window needs
to be resized every time the application is open.
On my system it appears to default to opening a window that is roughly
600x600. That's fine for a first default, but gets very stale very
quickly when you want it to be (say) 750 x 1100 to nicely fit an A4
page.
The application should save it's window size when closed, and re-open at
that size unless it is larger than the current screen resolution, in
which case it should reset to the default.
