Package: gimp
Version: 2.2.13-1
Severity: normal
Dear Gimp maintainers,
I mounted a shared repository with Nautilus, and was able to access it
from programs such as Eye of Gnome. However, this shared folder seems
invisible to Gimp, which is a great pain to me, because I do not know
how to access the files otherwise...
Have a nice day,

Because GIMP is not a GNOME application, it is not built with GNOME-VFS
support to be able to understand non-local URIs. However, the 2.3
development version of GIMP in Debian experimental does include the
gimp-gnomevfs package, which will use GNOME-VFS to open remote files.
