Package: evolution
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: normal

When using a windowmanager in mousefocus or sloppyfocus mode, a very
brief mouse entry into evolution's window and out to another window will
sometimes leave the focus with Ev. This is annoying, since when working
on a crowded desktop one occasionally ends up (e.g.) typing shell
commands into the mailer unexpectedly.

Reproducing: place evolution underneath two other windows, leaving a gap
through which the evolution main window is exposed. Flick the mouse
back and forth between the two covering windows. Most times, the focus
moves properly; occasionally (it takes me about ten flicks), it will
stay on or return to the evolution window even after the cursor has
moved back out. A screenshot of the situation with the mouse path
marked out is at http://devin.com/cruft/evolution-focus-bug.png; in it
the mouse has passed from the left window, over evolution to the right
window, but the focus has not left evolution.

This isn't definitely a bug in Evolution, but I can reproduce it with
two windowmanagers (sawfish and metacity), and no other app exhibits
this behavior. Mozilla had a similar problem once, but I don't recall
how the resolution went.
