Package: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
Version: 1:1.1.2-1
Severity: important
when a logitech (mx510) is a symlink, e.g. the persistent udev device,
the device fails to be present in xorg and an error appears:
(EE) PreInit returned NULL for "logi"
A mousepad seems to work with evdev when dev is a symlink as well as the
mouse if using the hardlink.
This is quite problematic since those usb devices tend to use different
hardlink naming after replugs.

As explained earlier, the manpage says that only "/dev/input/eventX"
devices are supported. Closing.
