Disclaimer: I don't know if and where PROTOCOL_proxy and no_proxy are
formally specified, so I'll take what I found (a chapter in the lynx
user's guide) as reference.
The lynx user's guide gives "host.domain.dom, domain1.dom, domain2" as
example for a no_proxy value. This does not work with links, as links
does not seem to strip off whitespace when comparing the domain names.
"host.domain.dom,domain1.dom,domain2" is necessary.
Please compare this with the formal definition of the no_proxy
mechanism and consider stripping of whitespace to make links more
tolerant against misformatted environment variables.
