I run Debian Unstable apt-pinned with testing and experimental.
I am using a NVIDIA graphics card(7300 GT) running proprietary
drivers.with open
drivers also the below errors happens.a custom kernel is used which is almost
the same as stock kernel except is compiled for nvidia support.
Xine when tried to play any dvd,video,audio files crashed and exit.error
traced from terminal shows jackd not found and pulse audio error.I am
using GNOME-2.18 and esd is enabled at startup.below is the error(s) i
got and the output of xine-check is posted at last section.

output of xine-check command:
is hosted at below site as i afraid it'll take more space.but it shows
errors of not finding you have MTRR support but it's unused,There are no
input plugins,There are no demux plugins,There are no decoder
plugins,There are no video_out plugins,There are no audio_out plugins
etc.while the version at testing(lenny)-1.1.2+dfsg-4 works although the
playback sometimes is choppy.

Okay, this really seems to me as a local configuration issue. I'm
closing this bug for now, as it seems impossible for both of us to
investigate this issue further. (I cannot reproduce it, I cann only
assume that jack and/or pulseaudio have become somehow misconfigured)
