Package: latex-svninfo
Version: 0.4-1

Hello,

I just wanted to install the svninfo package with texlive, but the debian package I found has tetex-bin as dependency. Is this package for tetex only? Then tetex-svninfo would be a far better name for the package; at least it should be mentioned in the package information. Or is it also for texlive, then the dependencies should be adjusted to accept also the corresponding package of texlive.

Best regards,
Simon

Hi,

See #422260: svninfo.sty is included in texlive-extra, so I've filed for
removal of the latex-svninfo package, no reason to have this tiny file
packaged twice for Debian.

Unfortunately, when I last looked, the version in texlive was slightly
older. If you miss something that's only in the new version, please file a
bug against texlive.

(closing this bug. I should properly mark it "wontfix", but I'd have to
close it anway when the package gets removed...)

cheers
