Package: k3b
Version: 0.12.17-8
Arch: amd64
I recently burned some iso files to dvd. k3b verify passed each disk. Disks
were mountable, but would skip when played. cmp file.iso /dev/cdrom read part
way through, then returned an I/O error. Inspection of the disks showed
physical defects in the media including areas of partial burn, and, in some
cases, pinholes. As the disks were physically bad they could not have been
readable immediately after burn. k3b should have flagged them but did not.
If I get another batch of bad disks I will test again with the latest k3b

Hi,
Since the verify code was improved quite a bit in K3b 1.0, this bug is
probably resolved in the latest version.
Please feel free to reopen the bug report if you encounter the bug again in
K3b 1.0.
Thanks,
Francois
