Package: kchmviewer
Version: 2.7-1
Severity: important

I start kchmviewer, and get a popup dialog saying 'Unable to load the
chm file ZZZ.chm'. I click on OK, and kchmviewer exits.

As you might guess, I have 'Open the last CHM file, if exist' selected
under Settings -> General. The last file I viewed in kchmviewer was ZZZ.chm,
but that file has since been removed. The result is that kchmviewer
won't start.

The workaround is to edit ~/.kchmviewer/config and change
LoadLatestFileOnStartup from 1 to 0. Then kchmviewer starts.
