Bug #412613 requesting that evince supports gzipped DVI files was closed
and supposedly fixed in 0.8.0-1.
However the command `evince file.dvi.gz' launches a popup window with
the message "Unhandled MIME type: application/x-gzdvi", whereas `kdvi
file.dvi.gz' displays the file for instance.
The same is true of bzipped DVI files.
Also evince is not associated with gzipped DVI files in nautilus for
example.
