Package: ipw2200-modules-2.6-686
Version: 2.6.18-4+etch1

All the ipw2200-modules-* package descriptions in Etch don't say that the
Intel Firmware is required to get these chipsets to work, nor do they
provide module version numbers, both of which would be extremely useful to
know when perusing package descriptions. I suggest they instead say:

The Debian 4.0/Etch 2.6.18 kernel includes version 1.1.2kmq of these modules.

This is version 1.2.0mq. you only need Install this if you want this newer
version of the driver
than the version included in the kernel. Once installed it will be
automatically used instead.
To see what the difference is between versions see
http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/#news.

To use either version you need to download and install the Intel firmware
from http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/firmware.php.
