Package: gv
Version: 1:3.5.8-26
Severity: normal

At

  http://ren.math.uwo.ca/tmp/gv-bug/

there is a 1 page pdf file. If you view it in gv, there is only
one entry in the table "Academic background". But if you view it
in acroread, you see two entries (which is what was intended).

The way I produced this file was as follows. An original 6 page
document was produced by a web site with this header information:

%PDF-1.1
1 0 obj
<<
/Creator (Developer 2000)
/CreatorDate (Thu Sep 19 08:22:21 AM 2002)
/Author (Oracle Reports)
/Producer (Oracle PDF driver)

This file shows the problem as well (on several pages), but for
privacy reasons I haven't put it on my web page. I will e-mail a
copy if you would like it.

To extract the first page, I used gv and saved the first page as
postscript. Then I ran ps2pdf to create the 1 page pdf document.

I don't know if this is a bug in gv, or a faulty pdf file, but
acroread manages to display the data fine.
