Sorry for the high severity but as symlinks is currently RC buggy,
it would be good to do this soon:
- the dependency on symlinks seems to be obsolete, there is no code anymore
in the preinst which uses it.
- the build-dependency is caused by the following line
( symlinks -r $(prefix) | grep -v -- '-> /etc' | grep ^dangling )
you can probably just convert that to something like
find $(prefix) -type l -exec file {} \; | grep -v /etc | grep "broken
symbolic link"
(which would of course require a new build-depends on file)
