Since upgrading to the 2.5.9-5 package of Squid, the daemon now
occasionally refuses proxy connections on it's listening port (3128 in
my configuration). The clients using Squid see an error about not being
able to contact the proxy server, and the problem dissapears after a few
seconds. Nothing appeared in the system log or any of the Squid logs
(access, cache and store).

This has been fixed in 2.5.9-6. No need to make changes to configuration
