Package: ekiga
Version: 2.0.3-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

On my AMD64 bit workstation Ekiga does not start up because it can not detect
audio plugins.
I have installed the libpt alsa plugin (like explained in bug 375279) but this
does not work.

Here is the output from: ekiga -d 1

Remarks:
- Bug #375279 (Ekiga: no audio plugins are detected) looks close but does not
help to resolve this.
* When I use a 32bit chroot on the same AMD64 system, Ekiga works perfectly.
- The Ekiga CVS snapshot from http://snapshots.ekiga.net/debian/ have the same
problem.
