Version: 1.5.27-3woody3
Severity: important
Upgrading from 1.5.27-3 to 1.5.27-3woody3 causes SMTP AUTH in sendmail
via SASL to stop working. Reverting to the early version causes it to
work again. I am somewhat at a loss as to what the exact cause is,
but am willing to assist in troubleshooting. The sendmail version in
question is: 8.12.9-3.

cyrus-sasl and its binary packages (libsasl-dev, libsasl7, sasl-bin,
libsasl-modules-plain, libsasl-gssapi-heimdal, libsasl-digestmd5) have
