Package: screen
Version: 4.0.2-4.1
Severity: normal

subj.

When I do the following

        1) run screen on the linux console
        2) run mc from inside the screen
(from debian package mc version 4.6.0-4.6.1-pre1)

- mc draws file panels and then does not respond to any
control key (character keys print chars, and Enter key print
  ".."(current file name)).

Under xterm everyrhing works fine.

Results are the same under various locale settings.

Earlier version of screen had worked well with earlier version of mc.
