Package: pdnsd
Version: 1.1.8b1par7-1
Severity: wishlist

There appears to be no way to share a pdnsd configuration between
IPv4-only and dual-stack hosts. When run-ipv4 is false, IPv4 server
addresses can only be specified as IPv6-mapped addresses and not as
IPv4 addresses; hence, the config file needs to be specific to the host.

I suggest that chrony should detect IPv4 addresses in the config file,
and if running in IPv6 mode, either use an IPv4 socket or automagi-
cally convert them to IPv6-mapped addresses.
