Package: network-manager-kde
Version: 1:0.1-2
Severity: important
Justification: fails to build from source

Hello,

when I try to build network-manager-kde from its knetworkmanager source,
I get this error:

make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/pleger/etch/knetworkmanager/knetworkmanager-0.1'
./admin/cvs.sh: line 33: --version: command not found
*** AUTOCONF NOT FOUND!.
*** KDE requires autoconf 2.53 or newer
make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/pleger/etch/knetworkmanager/knetworkmanager-0.1'
make: *** [debian/stamp-bootstrap] Error 2

The problem in ./admin/cvs.sh is: The shell command "$AUTOCONF --version" is
used to find the version of autoconf, but the shell variable AUTOCONF is
undefined. Similar problems exist with autoheader and automake. After
solving these problems (by defining the variables in cvs.sh to use
autoconf2.50, autoheader2.50 and automake-1.9), I still cannot
build the package because of the following errors:

configure.in:43: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:48: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
