Hi.
When using the "Scan modifier key" (SMK, in my case the "Windows Key") the
floating window will appear and display the translations found. if the "Hide
floating window when modifier key is released" option is set it will remain
open
while the key is pressed and/or the mouse pointer is over the floating window.
If you happen to release the key to early and press it again to see the
floating
window once again it will fail to reappear in most cases. You have to select a
different text and press the SMK then select the other text again and press the
SMK. In rare cases simply pressing the SMK a second time will work. In other
cases it will suffice to reselect the text and press the SMK. But I see no
pattern here.
Maybe the floating window should remain open a short while after releasing the
key or leaving the window (with the mouse pointer).
Kind regards
Andreas
