Package: hibernate
Version: 1.94-2
Severity: normal
I had to disable the vbetool workaround in /etc/hibernate/ram.conf to
get uswsusp to work on my System. My graphics board is a
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML
Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
It might be useful to have a blacklist that lists which video boards
need the vbetool workaround. According to the comments 50% of laptops
need it, however there are some like mine that don't like it being run
(so it shouldn't run by default on all laptops, i945 is a fairly common
chip with current laptops, I believe)

I know this isn't the best solution, but at least vbetool is now
disabled by default in the latest versions of hibernate.
