Package: dictionaries-common
Version: 0.85.2
Severity: normal

The warning at the beginning of the Policy document is quite unclear:

Because of the major changes in aspell 0.50 most aspell elements
present in previous versions of this policy are being removed.
Specifically pspell-ispell support is no longer available and pwli
files are no longer used. Some way of coordinating ispell and aspell
use under emacs is being implemented (see the Section called
Registering aspell dictionaries for use from within emacs). Besides
that, some reference to aspell might have been left in the document,
 | so be careful with them.

First, aspell current version is 0.60, so the text above seems quite old.
Second, it seems that the Emacsen aspell support of dictionaries-common is
already quite mature. Third, why should the developers be careful with the
references to aspell left in the document?

I am sorry for filing a bug report instead of trying to change the sources
directly in CVS (in particular because I am the first author of the document
:-) but I have not followed closely the development of dictionaries-common
lately, so I prefer to discuss the issues through the BTS.

Rafael
