Package: cruft
Version: 0.9.6-0.4
Severity: wishlist

This one's really out there, but here goes...

To make cruft a super-sophisticated Wunderkind of Amazement, perhaps it
can be eventually coded to allow the maintainers of various packages to
run it against just their packages -- and thus allow them input into
some detailed/really useful extra cruft tests (which the cruft
maintainers might not otherwise be capable of/notice/care about enough).

Of course, it would probably be many years before more than a core of
packages would likely make use of this, but if it were the right ones,
eventually perhaps cruft could really become a whiz-bang OS-fixer-upper;
-- especially for the Clueless...

Whaddaya think?
