When adding a password protected feed to straw it gives the incorrect
error "Host name lookup failed".
I would expect the application to properly log in if given a feed like
http://user:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/, or at least give a better error
message indicating the lack of functionality.

Hi!
Since I believe straw uses the gconf specified proxy settings, I
believe you should use gnome-network-preferences to specify the
proxy. You can enter the HTTP proxy authentication details there. I
believe this should solve this problem.
Should you have reason to believe that this isn't the solution, please
reopen this bug.
