Would you consider rising the priority of this package and its associated
binaries so that it makes it to the first CD / DVD ?  It's very useful to
have it when your only means of internet connection that would let you install
anything is precisely that ralink chip ;-)

As Sven Joachim explained, this package will likely be redundant for the
next release.  Besides, package priorities are actually determined by
ftpmaster and CD/DVD priorities by some complex metrics involving
popcon, so it's not really in our hands.
