man
adduser.conf : a typo and some missing info

 * must options in adduser.conf be one option per line ?

 * "The file /etc/adduser.conf contains defaults for the programs =20
adduser(8),
      addgroup(8), deluser(8) and delgroup(8).
    Each option takes form <option> =3D <value>."
    should that be:
"each default is specified in form <option> =3D <value>" ?

 * are spaces mandatory in '<option =3D <value>' ?
can i use any number of spaces and tabs ?

 * "Comment lines must have a pound sign (#) in first line."
Name of sign shown in braces is hash, not pound.

 * "specify an inclusive range of dynamically allocated normal user =20
UIDs"
   maybe refrase as :
"specify an inclusive range of UIDs from which normal user's UIDs =20
can be
     dynamically allocated" ?
(same thing is used 3 lines furtheron for system users)

I dont know whether this is a bug :
i have file /etc/adduser.conf on my system,
but dpkg -S /etc/adduser.conf can not find it,
and dpkg -L adduser doesn't list it, though it lists /etc/=20
   deluser.conf

These bugs have been tagged as fixed-in-experimental, and are now
being closed completely. That should have happened long ago.

Greetings
