Gamin 0.0.26 was released a while ago, but unstable still has 0.0.21-1 .
After compiling it locally, I can't reproduce bug #294058 anymore - this
bug sounds like the "Gnome Desktop refresh bug" that was fixed in 0.0.24
It may be worth a shot...
