Package: slapd
Version: 2.3.30-2
Severity: important

Running /etc/init.d/slapd start doesn't complain or anything, says it's starting
it, but doesn't start it. 'ps' confirms that it's not running. Starting it using
'slapd' on the other hand works fine.

Probably a configuration error, and running slapd with a -d flag will show
the real problem. Asked for more details in May 2007, closing due to no
response.
