Package: amarok
Version: 1.4.4-1
Severity: important

I have a big collection, and I have the option that auto-scans the
collection for changes set in amarok.
Whenever I add more files to one of the directories marked in amarok
as being part of my collection.
AmaroK stops playing music and uses about 70% of my CPU (a 2.8GHz P4),
and usually when it finishes to scan the collection (which takes at
least two minutes) it continues playing the file for a few seconds and
then it skips to the next file in the playlist. This is very
problematic specially because I use the music player taskbar panel, so
while amarok is scanning and doesn't respond, the KDE taskbar freezes
too; also, because of the obvious: the high CPU usage. I'm using
amarok with sqlite.
If there is any way I can get more info to help get this problem
fixed, just tell me.
