Package: insserv
Version: 1.08.0-11
It would be useful if the default header information assumed by
insserv when a init.d script is missing LSB headers were better. At
the moment the default dependency is empty when the header is missing,
and this make such scripts show up at the very start of the boot
sequence.
I believe it is better to assume start and stop dependency '$remote_fs
$syslog', start runlevel 2345 and stop runlevel 016, as this arguably
is the current meaning of the 'default' setting in update-rc.d. This
should be implemented in insserv.
Happy hacking,
