Package: wine

Version: 0.9.29-1

Severity: grave

Every time I want to start wine, I get the following error. I have tried to
remove / purge the files but nothing helped so far.

Also search Google or something won't help either.

Hopefully it is a simple error, though kind of irritating.

I am using the latest debian unstable version..

Thanks,

Paul

A case of your OpenGL libraries not functioning properly. Perhaps incorrectly installed ATI drivers or something. I don't know what libraries or hardware you have, but there's definitely help for setting up Linux properly with OpenGL out there on the Net. Make sure that a simple program like glxgears or something runs properly before launching Wine.
