This is repeatable. Launch wmcb, middle-click on the application, above
error is generated, and application closes.
Middle clicking only causes above error if it's done to the area which
displays the cut buffer, it's fine to click on the arrows, the cut
buffer number, and so on.

Hello,
here wmcb is working fine, I've tested clicking many time with all
buttons almost everywhere in the application window, and no error is
reported. Maybe the migration to XOrg, me using XFCE or something else
happened during 2 years, did the magic.
Feel free to reopen this bug if it's not fixed your side.
