Package: irssi-text
Version: 0.8.9-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
If you use irssi with a terminal that uses more then 16 colors, like xterm with
TERM=xterm-88color or rxvt or rxvt-unicode (current cvs-snapshot) you will see
that blue becomes red and so on....
you can check with vim who does it correctly. but only if you have 88 or more.
between 17 an 87 colors he does the same thing then irssi. But as usually
TERM = xterm-88color is used it works with vim but not in irssi.
rxvt-unicode uses the iso6429 colors like xterm....

As you weren't able to respond and it isn't able to reproduce it (nor
is it considered to be a possible bug through its ncurses usage) I am
closing this bug report.
If it is still an issue for you, feel free to reopen it but pretty
please add informations on how to reproduce it and at least give the
package versions of the involved parties (ncurses, rxvt, ...).
So long,
Rhonda
