Severity: wishlist

I notice that, while the 'transparent background' feature of xchat's
channel windows can be tinted all shades to Wednesday, there appears to
be no such tinting of the 'background image' feature available. Some
images could certainly become useful as backgrounds if they could just
be faded/darkened, etc. a bit, eh? Seems to me that running the
background image thru whatever functions the transparency goes thru for
tinting would be a simple enuff procedure to code for.

Maybe it's been an intended feature for a while, and just hasn't been
implemented yet?

No answer to request for more info. Anyhow, I'm not convinced that this
kind of nice features belong in xchat.
