After fetching the source for the coreutils package and invoking debchange to
add a new entry to debian/changelog, building the package fails whereas it
suceeds if I build the package directly after fetching. dpkg-buildpackage tells
me this:

I couldn’t find an option to make dpkg-buildpackage more verbose; please tell me
if there is one.

I have no idea what this is, so I certainly can't support it.

Look for log messages in the stampdir/log directory.
